Steady Install: Levels

General Information For Levels:

Steady Install offers various worker levels for project's installation and warehouse needs. These levels are defined by the installer's skill sets, years of experience, and tools they will provide for the project. Every installer goes through an onboarding process to ensure they are assigned the appropriate level. This allows you to schedule the right installers based on the expertise your project demands. Each level has a different rate, which will also change based on the market you are located in.

Level 1 (Expert)

• EXPERIENCE: 6+ years of commercial/office furniture/racking installation experience
• TOOLS: Has FULL tool set
• Will report to Foreman, but can:
  • Provide direction to the installation team members
  • Keep the foreman informed about the progress
• Interface with client as necessary
• Complete necessary paperwork but cannot sign off
• Document all defective items, damage and change orders but cannot sign off
• Enter job site time onto trip log
• Teach installation and material handling techniques to the installation team members when necessary
• Walk the job site with the Project Manager and/or the customer
• Can read work order and plans

Level 2 (Senior)

• EXPERIENCE: At least two years of commercial furniture or racking installation
• TOOLS: Has FULL tool list
• Execute the Foreman’s direction
• Can read work order and familiar with reading plans
• Ability to assist less experienced team members
• Assemble and place all products according to installation plans
• Document all defective items, damage and change orders but cannot sign off

Level 3 (Intermediate)

• EXPERIENCE: 6-24 months of commercial furniture/racking installation experience or 2+ years experience in a comparable skilled trade.
• TOOLS: Has BASIC Tools
• Follow instructions from Foreman
• Assemble and place all products according to installation plans with instruction
• Document all defective items, damage and change orders but cannot sign off

Level 4 (Entry)

• TOOLS: Will not bring Tools
• Unload, move, and stage products
• Assist in warehouse for pushing and inventory
• De-trash job site
• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted
